Alone again!

My mom is on her way to California to visit her brother (my uncle), I am once again alone for 5 days with the kids who right now are sick. One with colds and the infant with a low grade fever from her shots. This is going to be fun! *insert smirk here*

The house is a mess, so I should clean up yes, yes, yes I should if only I can get my hands off this computer and stop surfing (and blogging for that matter). This will be a preview come January on how things will work out  when my Mom will be going back home. Good thing, Yiek will be working home twice a week, it should be some sort of breather for me. Also, a good thing too since I haven't lose my post pregnancy weight not even a pound arrrggg! I'm planning to eat sandwich 7 days a night when my Mom is not here to cook, that should take off 5 pounds ye?

After Black Friday

Can I just say the sales this year are disappointing? We did still spend a substantial amount since blackfriday is also my mom's birthday but the discounts were not really deep and in fact I can get better discounts some other time. Sales is a number game so if you are not conscious of the price all-year-round then you'll get hoodwinked into thinking you got a good deal. In fact I did not spend anything during Cyber Monday which is the online Black Friday version typically Monday after Thanksgiving.

Also, it's good to compare prices with other retailers. I've find that whatever Walmart sells Amazon price matches it (during Black Friday), as you all know I love, love Amazon because I don't have to pay 7% sales tax + I get free shipping. Last friday, I got console below for $25 down from $69.99. Caleb will love this! (Good for us too, it will keep his hands off our iphone). I also got lots of freebies from CVS, from advil to organic shampoo.

This week my favorite grocery store Shoprite has plenty of smokin' hot deals, so hot my head is spinning from organizing all my coupons and thinking of deals. When this holiday is over I promise to be better with money managemenent peksman *wink*.
